My husband and I had our wedding at Mallard Island Estate in August of 2026 and James & Jimmy were our This Is It team. We knew shortly after our first virtual meeting with them that we were in the best hands - from our multiple planning meetings (with both of them!) and their very easy to use planning portal, they ensured that our day was EXACTLY as we wanted it. Our guests raved about how much fun they had (and some even asked for their contact info). They made great effort to get to know our personalities and truly captured who we are as a couple - from our extra special dinner music set to our custom anniversary dance to honor my grandparents, everything was truly perfect. Thinking we'll need a 10 year vow renewal just to repeat the party :)

Also, definitely get the lighting package - it brought the party to life!

James and Jimmy were truly one of the highlights of our wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor. From the planning process all the way through the last song of the night, they were absolutely incredible.

Going into wedding planning, music was honestly one of the things we were most stressed about. We wanted the music to feel like us, but the thought of choosing everything and figuring out how it would all come together felt overwhelming. James and Jimmy somehow made that entire process insanely easy. They listened to what we liked, understood the vibe we were going for, incorporated our own music preferences seamlessly, and completely took the stress out of it. By the time the wedding came around, we felt like we could just trust them—and they absolutely delivered.

The music throughout the night was amazing. They knew how to read the room, kept the energy going, and made everything flow so naturally. But what we loved most was that they weren’t just great DJs—they were genuinely awesome, fun guys to have at our wedding. They added so much personality to the night and were willing to roll with the spontaneous moments that ended up becoming some of our favorite memories.

Case in point: at one point, an impromptu rap session of “Candy Shop” by 50 Cent broke out, and James and Jimmy handed my husband the microphone and let him go for it. 😂 It was completely unplanned, absolutely hilarious, and one of those moments we will be talking about forever. The fact that they embraced moments like that instead of making the night feel overly scripted is exactly what made them so special.

The photo booth was also a HUGE hit. Our guests had so much fun with it, and the photos came out amazing. The quality was fantastic, and we love having all of those hilarious and sweet photos of our friends and family to look back on.

We truly cannot recommend This Is It Entertainment enough. James and Jimmy made the planning easy, the music incredible, and the entire reception so much fun. They helped make our wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor everything we hoped it would be and more.

When you look back on your wedding, there are certain vendors who simply provided a service, and then there are the people who actually became part of what made the night unforgettable. James and Jimmy were absolutely the latter.

The lighting was absolutely incredible and completely transformed our wedding. But if there’s one piece of advice I can give future couples, it’s this: make sure James DJs your afterparty.

We originally hired them just for the lighting and only later found out that James was also a DJ. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made. His energy, song selection, and ability to read the crowd were unbelievable. He kept the dance floor packed all night and somehow made our afterparty feel like we had been transported straight to Ibiza.

The lighting and production were flawless, but James truly took the night to another level. We can’t recommend him enough!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and MC than Jimmy & James! They took the time to meet with us multiple times before the wedding to truly understand our vision, and they executed it perfectly. We had an amazing experience with This is It!! From the initial consult call we knew their team was the most professional & exceptional team to ensure our day was amazing from start to finish. Every time we spoke during planning, they seemed just as hyped as us and gave us great planning tips! Our Dj & EmCee were AMAZING and helped the day run so smoothly - and even ensured we didnt miss a single thing on the dance floor because we were running around. Shout out to Jimmy & Dan!! They even sent photos from behind the scenes that they managed to snag. Everyone there was so nice & I would recommend them in a heart beat!

We hired This Is It Entertainment for our wedding and could not have been happier. James and his team handled everything — ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception — across three completely different setups, both inside and outside. They took care of the lighting and every other detail, and it all came together seamlessly. Setup and teardown were entirely on them, and we never had to worry about a thing.

This is the best DJ company. I had them for my wedding. Everyone did not stop dancing. James is so friendly and makes you feel at ease throughout the whole process. He can set the mood perfectly and helped my friend with pre ceremony preparation. Weekend Willy was amazing. He has this energy that’s so fun and contagious. My friends and I have all used them for our wedding and each wedding has been a blast because of this company.

He was patient, kind, and understanding as he listened to all our ideas and offered insight into how a day would typically go. After that call, it was a no-brainer that we would need him as our DJ. Leading up to the wedding, James and our MC, Jimmy, were always available by phone or text for any questions or last-minute ideas we had. During the wedding, they were always around, making sure the party never stopped! We had a fantastic call with James. He walked us through a lot of information in a structured way that made it easy to follow and still felt conversational. I also appreciated his general wedding tips and thoughts to take to other vendors if we didn't end up booking with them. Overall a really amazing and professional first impression and left us feeling very comfortable booking with them!
